How Would You Like to Help Us?

 

Churches are always in need of help with accomplishing Jesus' mission to their communities.  This is especially true of new churches.  But where God wants to get some work done, He provides the resource to make it happen.  That resource is you.  God blesses the faithfulness of His people and He loves a cheerful giver.  If Elevation Church is going to be used of God to transform people and culture in the City of Reno and beyond - and we will - then faithful people must cheerfully give of their resources to make it happen.  God is at work in the City of Reno to bring about life transformation and spiritual renewal through the movement of the Gospel.  If you would like to participate in this movement, there are three ways you can help us launch Elevation Church. 

 

Time:

You can give of your time in two ways.  First and most importantly, partner with us in prayer.  The Bible tells us that only God can build His church (Psalm 127:1, Matthew 16:18).  Starting a new church is a spiritual work and not a human one, therefore, prayer is the foundational supportive action you can take as you give of your time.  Also, we believe that prayer can change the destiny of our City.  Please consider setting aside some time on a daily or weekly basis to intercede with God on our behalf for the Eastern Sierra region.  Pray that God will be honored in our work, the name of Jesus will be Elevated and the City of Reno will be transformed.

Second, please prayerfully consider joining our launch team.  If you live in Reno, near Reno, or would consider moving to Reno, shoot us an email expressing your desire and we'll set up a time to talk, or use the partnership form below.

 

Talent:

Participate in the launching of Elevation Church of the Eastern Sierra through the use of your gifts and skills.  The list of needed talents is long for a new church and it's not necessary that you live in Reno to help in this way.  If you would like to help with the behind-the-scenes work of planting Elevation, please indicate this on the partnership form below or shoot us an email. 

 

Treasure:

Please prayerfully consider being a financial partner with us during our startup phase.  This is an adventure of faith for us and we believe God's Word where the Apostle Paul writes, "My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus" (Phil 4:19).  We are not depending on our own resources but God's resources to build this new work, and we believe that where God guides, He will provide.  We are grateful beyond measure that God uses ordinary people like you and me to accomplish His Kingdom work.  

 

Unlike other non-profit organizations, Elevation Church will not need long-term giving, but only that which is necessary for us to become self-sufficient, which is estimated to take between 2 and 4 years.  Elevation is committed to starting new missional communities (churches) in Northern Nevada and elsewhere and will begin to do so within our first two to five years.  So those who partner with us financially are seeding future church plants, that will impact thousands for Christ.  We are especially looking for people who will give a certain amount of money each month for at least a one-year period, but one-time gifts are also greatly appreciated.

 

Our hope is that you see this not just as a gift, but mainly as an investment in what God is doing in the City of Reno, and the Eastern Sierra region.
